If any of you have ever tried to launch yourself up to the top of one of the 'blue beam' towers in Halo, you'll know how difficult it is. Now imagine trying to launch from the top of one tower to the top of another. Sounds impossible right? A while ago someone on the HIH message board challenged to community to see if anyone caould do this, and a couple of days ago, someone posted a vid of themselves makeing the jump, but they died before landing, this is by far the closest anyone has gotten. Check out the vid in thios forum thread: ducain.org/hihforum/viewtopic.php?t=72858&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

I probably have the least experience in Halo glitches on this entire site/forum. I don't have an XBox, so I have probably only bothered reading about 2-3 glitches for Halo maximum. If I can find the CD I've got a copy for Mac, but yeah.
Because of said lack of knowledge about Halo glitches, it is extremely hard for me to appreciate just how hard it is to "launch" from a tower to another. If I didn't know better, I'd say it's very easy. Of course, it's not.
I'm pretty sure that I've just recently gone over my (well, our) monthly download limit, which is no extra cost, except that we get set back to 56 kb when downloading. Therefore the launch video won't be finished downloading until I get back from school.
After watching, I'll get back to you with thoughts on it.

OMG! Watched it, amazing stuff. I didn't know they'd be so far apart. You know that mini tower near the starting one? Yeah, I thought you had to get to there, but then he revealed the SUPER-PSYCHO LEAP OF FAITH!
Okay... I'm calm. First of all, this will seem unusually close to my last post to be returning from school. Well, you see, I didn't have time to actually post the above message before school, so I've just done that now. The video didn't fully download, so I tried it again just now, and found that it was returned to full-speed. I obviously didn't go over the limit after all Hooray! More downloading! Everybody join me! Hooray! Hooray!
With my little bits of experience with Halo, I now understand this skitzo jumping thingy. Great find, Dom. Be sure to tell me when or if someone succeeds. Now I must go watch it again...
