Yes, perhaps this file-mapping glitch is prone to corruption...
Perhaps this file-mapping glitch can be discovered...
...and a way to manipulate such corruption can be found...
Perhaps, if we find the Data-Recovery glitch and use Crooked-Cartridge while preforming it, or use Crooked-Cartridge while saving...of course, I doubt anyone would try that because it might fry your game.

my friend has a copy of sm64 and he does cart lift on all of his games, so i could probably go to his house sometime and see if he'll do it.

...of course, if it doesn't work, he might completely destroy his cartridge, all save files, and possibly all glitchy finds he may have made...

Cart-Lifting the game could produce one of these things (I'm using basic knowledge and random guessing);
1. A crashed game (most likely) 2. An easily crashed game (highly likely) 3. Broken enemies (quite likely) 4. Complete and total data erasal (likely) 5. Progress random manipulation (unlikely) 6. Profile mapping (very unlikely) 7. A dead console (could happen!)
